Mokokchung, Aug. 7 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir, on Friday ordered that all ‘quarantinees’ will have to pay INR 350 per head/ per day for their mess with effect from August 10. The mess would be inclusive of lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
However, ‘quarantinee’ can opt out of the mess and arrange their own food from outside. Such food packages should be mandatorily in single-use disposable containers and preferably of biodegradable materials, the order stated. It added that the food packages should be deposited at the designated kitchen for delivery and no unauthorised person would be permitted to visit the quarantine centres.
Any returnee/ patient discharged from quarantine centre/ Covid Care Centre/ Covid Hospital for home quarantine should arrange their own transportation for going home. However, if any returnee is unable to arrange own transportation, the district task force would arrange necessary transportation, the cost of which should be borne by the returnee, the order stated.
This was resolved in a meeting of the Mokokchung district task force for Covid-19 held on August 6.
Meanwhile in another order, the Mokokchung district administration announced that inter-district movement of vehicles would be totally restricted from August 10 to the 14th. However, there would be no restriction on intra-district movement.
Only medical emergency cases with due written permission from the district administration would be permitted for inter-district movement, the order stated.
Movement of commercial vehicles carrying essential commodities and goods across Tzutapela Gate/ Watiyongpang Gate would continue as per office order Dated July 17.
Market would also continue to open on alternate days as per office order Dated July 14.
Banks asked to provide sanitisers (Subheadline)
In the interest of public health and safety, the Mokokchung district administration on Friday directed all the banking institutions to provide hand sanitisers/ hand washing facilities at the ATM/ CDM booths.
Further, all the banking institutions are directed to ensure that all laid down Covid-19 safety protocols are strictly implemented in all the banks/ ATMs/ CDMs.
It cautioned that any person/ group acting in violation of the order would be deemed to have committed offence punishable under 188 IPC.
