Dimapur, June 15 (EMN): There was no lockdown violation and law and order incident reported in Nagaland on June 14, according to a report issued by the joint secretary to the government of Nagaland.
“On the availability of essential goods, the report stated that shops for food grains and groceries were opened in all the districts other than Longleng and Mokokchung. It added that medical shops remained opened in all the districts except Longleng,” the report read.
It went on to state that no shortage of food grains, medicines and other essentials were reported in any part of the state. It added that no movement restriction was imposed for the distribution of essential commodities and on service providers.
The report further stated that suitable arrangements have been made for providing food and shelter to migrant workers affected by the Covid-19 restrictions, and that such relief continues. It mentioned that one active relief/shelter camp and one food camp are currently functioning.
