  • DIMAPUR — Two groups—Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF) and Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN)—have demanded the revocation of Nagaland government order dated December 17, 2024, which “permits the government to absorb/regularise the backdoor appointees in the posts of assistant professors/librarians.”

  • In a joint press release issued on Saturday, the groups reminded the Higher Education department of the P&AR department’s office memorandum dated June 6, 2016, and demanded the immediate cancellation of the December 17, 2024, order and also terminate those appointed after June 6, 2016.

  • “Failing to comply with our demand will lead to protests outside the directorate starting from 16th April,” they warned.
