NNPGs, RH discuss on political situation

Dimapur, May 5 (EMN): Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) Working Group and Rengma Hoho have reaffirmed that social and emotional integration must be pursued and maintained for future generation to pursue their rightful place among the nations of the world. This concern was unanimously expressed by the NNPGs Working Group and the Rengma Hoho which met at GPRN/NSCN Designated Camp Khehoi on May 5. The members deliberated on the prevailing socio-political situation confronting the inhabitants of present Nagaland state, primarily in consideration of the clear position and repeated stand of the Government of India on the question of Naga integration. A joint press statement issued by MB Neokpao and N Kitovi Zhimomi representing GPRN/NSCN, NSCN (R), Z Royim and V Nagi representing NNC (Parent body), Hozheto and Tsanthungo representing NNC/NPGN, Kiumukum representing NNC/GDRN, Rengma Hoho president Kenyuseng Tep and the finance secretary Nnolo Tep have reaffirmed to pursue social and emotional integration for future generation to pursue their rightful place among the nations of the world. NNPGs have appreciated the Rengma Hoho for their unflinching support, contribution and active participation in the Naga national movement. It said pioneers like Rusilo Rengma, signatory of 1929 Naga memorandum to British statutory Commission for Naga self determination, will forever embody Rengma people’s spirit, will and desire for their nation. The members discussed on various issues concerning Naga political solution and appreciated the positive steps taken by the NNPGs.
