NNC (PB) supports NSCN (IM)

Dimapur, April 28 (EMN): Naga National Council (NNC), Parent Body, has supported the stand of NSCN (IM) against Islamic State (IS) if they carry out terror attack in Nagaland. Terming the stand of NSCN (IM) as the right step taken for the Naga people and its land, NNC (PB), through its information and publicity wing, appealed everyone in Naga homeland to support the decision of NSCN (IM). It also sought coordination of all the Nagas and organisations to protect and safeguard its people and land particularly when their faith is threatened. NNC also supported the Kohima Village Council, Western Sumi Hoho, NSF, ACAUT, NTC etc., who have stood firm against illegal immigrants. It further stated that Northeast people should coordinate and support each other in action to protect the land and faith in particular when their survival is threatened by outsiders before it is too late.
