NNC (PB) Lotha region flays expulsion

Dimapur, March 30 (EMN): President of the Naga National Council (NNC), parent body, Lotha regional council (LRC), has ridiculed news report on his termination and other leaders saying, ‘Nobody can terminate my name or my service for Naga freedom except by the Lotha regional council.’ President of Lotha regional council, NNC (Parent Body), Ekyimthung Patton, on the contrary, condemned the former acting president, Z Royim, for creating confusion just for his vested personal gain in the Naga political affairs. In a rejoinder, Ekyimthung Patton stated that Z Royim’s leadership was condemned and rejected by the entire regions of NNC (Parent Body) last year. He added that Z Royim was no more the leader of NNC (Parent Body), as he is just a GB in his village known to the Naga people and his region in particular. He added that the Lotha regional council fully support the leadership of Yilow Humtsoe, Zhiongba Yimchungrü and V Nagi as acting president, vice president and general secretary respectively. He further affirmed that the entire people of Lotha regional council would stand behind them at any cost in the interest of Naga historical and political rights for freedom.
