Dimapur, May 15 (EMN): Nagaland Medicine Dealers’ Association (NMDA) conducted its annual general meeting on May 13 at Hotel Saramati in Dimapur.
The association has congratulated its general secretary Ashok Kr Singhal on his re-electing as vice president of All India Organisation of Chemist and Druggist NE zone for sixth consecutive term.
In a press release, NMDA president Ato Yepthomi has congratulated him for efficiently running the affairs of the association. Meanwhile, Ato Yepthomi was re-elected as the president of NMDA by voice vote, which was proposed by the executive member John Murry.
NMDA also resolved to support the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industries which has suggested closing of the business activities in Dimapur if illegal extortion was not controlled in Dimapur. NMDA has further assured support to the DCCI in the interest of the entire business community.
