DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Medical Council (NMC) has informed that all allopathic medical practitioners serving or practicing modern medicine in Nagaland must be registered with the council.
This includes doctors employed by the central government, visiting doctors participating in medical camps or as consultants in clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes.
Additionally, all medical practitioners registered with the NMC must renew their registration every five years.
“These mandates are stipulated under the relevant provisions of the Nagaland Medical Act 2014,” it said in a circular issued on Tuesday.
