Dimapur, Sep. 29 (EMN): Nagaland Students’ Union Chandigarh (NLSUC) celebrated its 2nd annual gathering-cum-freshers’ social on September 28 at Rodem House, Vikas Nagar, Nayagaon, Chandigarh, on the theme ‘Rooted together for unity.’
Renowned motivation speaker, Vivek Atray, IAS (Retd.) graced the function as the chief guest. In his address Vivek Atray said, ‘The true goal in life is happiness. Life is not about marks but it’s about making a mark.’
The inaugural session was followed by an extravaganza nite, where students, members and invitees presented different items including songs, dances and cultural presentation showcasing the Naga cultural wear.
Meshenti Tep and Hikili Sumi were crowned NLSUC Mr and Miss Fresher.
The union general secretary, Vizayielie Motonyü stated that around 130 persons including students, members, invitees, well-wishers and other dignitaries attended the event.
