Dimapur, Dec 17: Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) has urged the State government to order for CBI inquiry “if the government feels that they have not done anything wrong with regard to the PDS scam.”
India, being the largest democratic country in the world, it queried “don’t we have the right to voice out against corruption?” It said Nagaland is not a dictatorial form of government.
While pointing out Article 19(1)(b) of the constitution of India, it said all citizens have the right to assemble peacefully and without arms.
The Federation, in a joint press release issued by its president, Imliben Lemtur, information secretary, Roland, and the speaker, Nungshimeren Jamir, conveyed dismay over the PDS scam crisis. The Federation further strongly appealed to the State government and law enforcing agency to deliver the justice at the earliest.
