NLSF condemns Jan 22 incident

EMN Dimapur, January 26 Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) has condemned vehicles damage at Kezieke Colony, Kohima on January 22 midnight by the miscreant. “Pasting sticker in a car or bus “I AM ACAUT” is respect in consistent with the constitutionally guaranteed right of freedom of speech and expression in Article 19(a) of the Indian constitution. The federation cautioning all the law abiding citizens to condemn such life attempt intention by the unknown miscreant. “ “No miscreant ought to be his own judge, or the tribunal in his own affairs. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the competent law enforcing authorities to arrest the offender “visproxima” and imposed the deserved punishment at the earliest.” A statement issued by Vice President, NLSF, Wekhrope Marhu and General Secy. Khemvu Mekru said, the incident upsurge disrupted the integrity of the general public which against the exercising of fundamental rights. “No miscreant ought to be his own judge, or the tribunal in his own affairs.
