Dimapur, Aug. 5 (EMN): The Niuland Area Students’ Union held its 3rd inter-school literary competition cum felicitation programme on 4th August 2018 at St. Joseph School Niuland.
ADC Niuland Athrila S exhorted the students to pursue “real” knowledge and achieve greater goals in life and not just study for the sake of completing or getting degree in life, a press release from the union updated.
SDEO Niuland Bendanglila also spoke on the occasion and handed over Academic Excellence Award viz. Tolhopu Excellence Award to Kheholi Zhimo; Hezuli Excellence Award to Atokali Awomi; and Hokishe Excellence Award to Vini Zhimo.
Invocation prayer was offered by Tokivi Yeptho, pastor of Niuland Town Sümi Baptist Church, welcome address was delivered by Rev. Fr. Matthew John, and presidential note was delivered by Yepeto Aye.
Special numbers were presented by Reginald Hughes Shaw Memorial School and Seth Shohe.
