- DIMAPUR — The
Niuland District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) has approved the
proposals for construction of Land Resources office building and opening of new
Government Primary School in Hokuto village.
- The approval to this effect was taken during the monthly
DPDB meeting held on January 16 chaired by the deputy commissioner and vice
chairperson of DPDB, Sara S Jamir.
- A DIPR report stated that the house also approved and
recommended for construction of slab culverts in Khuboto town.
- During the meeting, Horticulture department made a power
point presentation by highlighting the on-going projects, schemes and
achievements made in the district.
- The Power department has been entrusted to make powerpoint
presentation in the next DPDB meeting.
- Meanwhile, the house also discussed on the work distribution
for the upcoming Republic Day celebration. The chairperson has sought joint
efforts and contribution from all the departments for the successful conduct of
Republic Day celebration.
