DIMAPUR — NITI (NEET-JEE) Academy awarded the
Morung Scholarship Test toppers on Monday, with Geoffrey Yaden, editor-in-chief
of Nagaland Post and prominent social worker, as the chief guest. All Nagaland
Private Schools' Association (ANPSA) (Central) president Nini Sekhose was the
guest of honour.
ANPSA officials, along with principals and administrators of
participating schools, also attended the programme, according to an update.
The scholarship test, held across schools in the state on
Saturdays in November, saw participation from 1,200 students in classes 8, 9,
10, 11, and 12 from various schools in six districts.
In recognition of their outstanding performance, the top
three students in each category of the Morung Scholarship Test were awarded
cash prizes of INR 10,000, INR 5,000, and INR 3,000, respectively, along with
scholarships of up to 100% to pursue advanced academic programmes at NITI
Academy.
Apart from the cash awards, all participants who scored a
minimum of 50% marks have been considered for scholarships to join NITI
Academy’s signature programmes, designed to prepare students for success in
competitive exams. These programmes include the crash course programmes, the
two-year integrated programme, the three-year advanced programme, and the
four-year foundation programme.
NITI Academy extended congratulations to all the winning
schools and participants.
