DIMAPUR — NITI (NEET-JEE) Academy announced the results of the Morung Scholarship Test, an initiative aimed at identifying and nurturing academic excellence among students in Nagaland.
The scholarship test, held across schools in the state on Saturdays in November, saw participation from students of classes 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 from various schools in six districts.
For the Class 8 category, Sentizungba Pongen, Akhemdi Sangtam, and Tamanna Ferdous secured first, second, and third positions, hailing from Pilgrim Higher Secondary School and S.D. Jain Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, respectively.
For the Class 9 category, Tongpang Aier, Amar Singh, and Ali Hassan secured first, second, and third positions, respectively, from The Maole Tree, S.D. Jain Higher Secondary School, and Neingulie Memorial School.
For the Class 10 category, Elijah Ronren Kikon, Lulenshir Jamir, and Bibek Chaudhari secured first, second, and third positions, respectively, from Pilgrim, The Maple Tree, and Neingulie Memorial Schools.
For the Class 11 category, Anyanthang Seb, Shikhutsu Solomon, and Sneha secured first, second, and third positions, respectively, from St. John Higher Secondary School, Government Higher Secondary School, and St. Mary's Higher Secondary School.
For the Class 12 category, Phishika Assumi, Mhasirano Chuse, and Imkongnukshi secured first, second, and third positions, respectively, from St. John Higher Secondary School, Government Higher Secondary School, Kigwema, and The Maple Tree School.
Apart from the cash awards, all participants who scored a minimum of 50% marks in the scholarship test have been considered for scholarships to join NITI Academy’s signature programmes, designed to prepare students for success in competitive exams.
NITI Academy extended congratulations to all the winning schools and participants. All students can collect their respective scorecards from the institute from December 6 onwards. The cash awards will be presented on Monday, December 16, in a ceremonial function, where the presence of the awardees and school representatives is mandatory.
