DIMAPUR — In a landmark collaboration aimed at transforming science education in Nagaland, NITI (NEET-JEE) Academy, Marwari Patti, Dimapur, and Pilgrim Higher Secondary School, Kuda B, Dimapur, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Sunday to launch the School Integrated Programme (SIP) for Class XI Science students, starting from the next academic year (2026-27).
The SIP model brings together regular board curriculum and competitive NEET-JEE coaching under one roof, saving students valuable time and energy while ensuring focused academic preparation with critical thinking, conceptual clarity, strategic planning, stress and time management techniques with regular mock tests, an update stated.

Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony, Bithungo Kikon, Administrator of Pilgrim HSS shared, “This partnership marks a revolutionary step in Nagaland’s education system. Students will no longer need to shuttle between school and coaching centres. They will receive synchronised learning, mentoring from IIT alumni, and comprehensive preparation for both Board and NEET-JEE exams—all within school hours.”
Key features of the SIP at Pilgrim HSS would be classes integrated with NBSE curriculum + NEET-JEE syllabus, mentorship by IIT alumni and expert faculty from NITI Academy, time-saving and affordable fee structure, scholarships for meritorious and underprivileged students, and limited intake to ensure personalised attention and high-quality outcomes.
“This initiative is designed to uplift talented students from across Nagaland by offering equal opportunities for quality science education and entrance exam preparation, particularly benefitting rural and economically weaker sections,” it stated.
Students completing Class X this year can provisionally sign up soon to be part of the first-ever SIP School in Nagaland. Full admission details and scholarship application guidelines is expected to be released shortly.
“This collaboration between NITI Academy and Pilgrim Hr. Secondary is set to redefine how science students in the state prepare for national-level competitive exams to become doctors and engineers,” the update added.
