NITI Aayog Deputy Advisor A Muralidharan attends Aspirational programmes in Kiphire and Khongsa.

DIMAPUR — The Aspirational District Programme in Kiphire and the Aspirational Block Programme in Khongsa were conducted on February 26 and the 27 at DBDP Hall, DC’s office Kiphire, and Salomi Village (Khongsa Block), respectively.
The programme was attended by A Muralidharan, Deputy Advisor (Water & Land Resources), NITI Aayog, New Delhi, as the special guest, a DIPR report stated.
During his visit to Salomi Village, the deputy advisor interacted with frontline workers including health workers, Anganwadi workers, and teachers, appreciating their dedicated service in improving grassroots development indicators.

As part of the Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0, Muralidharan interacted with the Self-Help Groups (SHGs) who have promoted local products under the banner of Aakansha and inaugurated exhibition stalls set up at Salomi Village, to showcase community-based enterprises.
He also flagged-off a vaccination van for the Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) Drive, reinforcing the government’s commitment to strengthening livestock health and rural livelihoods.
The launch programme at Salomi also included registration camps on Agniveer recruitment by the 30th Assam Rifles Kiphire Battalion, encouraging youth participation in national service.
“The events witnessed the presence of heads of departments, development partners, and community members, reflecting strong inter-departmental convergence and collective resolve to accelerate holistic development under the Aspirational District and Block initiatives,” it stated.
