Dimapur, June 21 (EMN): NIIT Dimapur Centre has launched the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) mapped GNIIT for enhancing employability and preparing Day 1 ready professionals for the IT industry. The announcement was made during its 19th annual day held at NIIT Dimapur Centre on June 18.
It would allow students undertaking GNIIT at Dimapur Centre to get prepared for careers in IT industry along with their college years and thus be employable at the end of graduation.
The GNIIT course is now aligned to NSQF regulations and maps to profile of “Software Developer.” It encompasses “7” out of “7” National Occupational Standards (NOS) of “SSC/Q0501 - Software Developer” qualification pack issued by “IT-ITeS sector skill council NASSCOM.” The NSQF level of the updated GNIIT programme is 7 as certified by NASSCOM.
With a legacy of 28 years, the GNIIT programme has enabled students to acquire necessary skills to aspire for new age jobs. The new age curriculum lays emphasis on industry specific competencies and helps students stand out in the most competitive environment.
