Dimapur, July 8 (EMN): The director of NIIT Dimapur, Ajay Sethi, has urged students to study also subjects that are outside their normal syllabus. He has urged them to ‘go deep into their preferred subjects’ to succeed in competitive examinations.
Sethi was speaking as a special guest of the ‘freshers’ day’ programme of the SD Jain Higher Secondary School. The special guest at the Fresher’s Day programme at SD Jain Higher Secondary School in Dimapur on July 7, the NIIT director advised the students saying that academic excellence was very important and that students should work hard to realse their dreams.
Also speaking at the programme, the principal of the school, Reji Abraham highlighted on the the importance of making quick adjustments to life in different environments.
He told the students that not only academic excellence but life skills and interpersonal skills are also equally important to build a successful career.
He advised the students to take up their studies passionately and consistently to succeed in life.
According to the press note the programme was conducted to accord a formal welcome to the class 11 students who recently joined the school.
