DIMAPUR — Niesa Kolakhe from Nagaland has etched her name in history by becoming the first Indian woman to be crowned Mrs. Femme International 2024 at the Mrs. India Inc 2024 Season 5 competition held on October 27 at the Rajhasthali Resort & Spa in Jaipur.
According to a press release received here on Monday, Kolakhe, who was also awarded the title of Mrs. Beyond Giving for her dedication to social causes, triumphed over a field of 53 contestants from across India. She will represent India on the international stage early next year.
The event featured a distinguished judging panel, including former Mrs. World Candice Deborah Adams, reigning Mrs. Globe Marina Kamaeva, and several other prominent figures from the world of pageantry and fashion.
The Mrs. India Inc pageant, founded by Mohini Sharma, is considered India’s premier beauty competition for married women and is affiliated with renowned international titles such as Mrs. World, Mrs. Galaxy, Mrs. Earth, Mrs. Globe, and Mrs. Femme International.
Born and raised in Dimapur, Kolakhe completed her schooling at Holy Cross Higher Secondary School in Dimapur before pursuing a degree in Computer Science. She currently works as a stylist in Bangalore. She is married to businessman Rajesh Sundaran and the couple has two children.
