EMN Dimapur, January 18 The Nagaland Hotels and Restaurant Association (NHRA) has appealed to the law enforcing agencies to make its best effort in apprehending the murderer of Lt. Ritika Mehta, proprietor of Apna Hotel who was also the secretary of the association. “We have confidence on the police that they will perform their duty without any fear, bias or favor by apprehending the culprits who are still at large. We are also positive that the police will take the most advantage in identifying the culprits which is available through CCTV and is in their custody whereby we accept it safe and free from manipulation” said a statement issued by NHRA. Extending its full moral support to the investigating agencies, the Association appealed to the public to extend any support wherever possible so that the progress of investigation is not impeded. The NHRA reiterated the condemnation of Ritika’s killing and said that the society do not deserve to be taken ransom by such heartless and unmindful criminals. “Taking the life of one another can never bring solution rather it will only multiply bitterness and create social insecurity, it added. The NHRA expressed the hope that the competent investigation agency would bring befitting justice to all involved even though it was delayed.
