Dimapur, Oct. 26 (EMN): A six-day exhibition organised by the Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) and sponsored by the office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, got underway on October 26 at Urban Haat in Dimapur.
An update from NHHDC informed that a total of 50 participants from Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and other districts of Nagaland are participating in the exhibition by showcasing varieties of handcraft items.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Sukhato A Sema, retired principal director of Health and Family Welfare.
The main objective of the exhibition was to develop and promote marketing channels in domestic and export markets and bring about linkage between the two in a holistic and integrated manner.
