Kohima district administration reopens NH-29 stretch between Liezocha and Kezanu for heavy vehicles following safety assessment.

DIMAPUR — Kohima district administration on Saturday reopened a section of National Highway-29 between Liezocha and Kezanu for movement of heavy vehicles up to 10-wheeler trucks, with immediate effect.
An order issued by Deputy Commissioner B Henok Buchem stated that the decision was taken based on a status report submitted by the National Highway, Kohima Division on December 19.
According to the order, the stretch between Liezocha (Chainage 173.300 km) and Kezanu (Chainage 175.350 km) has been deemed fit for the passage of heavy vehicles following an assessment by highway authorities.
