Dimapur, June 8 (EMN): The Landowners Union NH-29 (Purana Bazaar-Chumoukedima) has said in a statement that it has once again reaffirmed its objective and stand in connection with land compensation issue during its general body meeting held on June 8.
The house has resolved to empower its office bearers and executive members to execute any emergency decision in case of any eventuality, even to the extent of filling the case in the High Court. It has also resolved to extend the date of registration to June 30, after which no further extension will be made.
Meanwhile, the union has extended its appreciation to Dimapur deputy commissioner and his subordinate officers for giving a patient hearing during the joint meeting held on June 6 and also for considering to forward the aggrieved landowner’s grievances to the state government.
