Dimapur, Nov. 4: Much to the relief of those who travel between Dimapur and Kohima, the blockade caused by a landslide on NH 29 near Chumukedima police check post has been cleared for single-lane traffic.
The manager of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), Rishinandan confirmed that the road will be “fully open” for all type of vehicles on late Sunday night.
A landslide that occurred between Chumukedima police check post and Kukidolong on Oct. 31 had blocked vehicular passage for five days.
