Dimapur, May 6 (EMN): Parliamentary Secretary LRD & Excise BS Nganlang visited most of the villages under 49 Tamlu assembly constituency beginning from April 29 to May 3 and met NPF party functionaries and village councils and apprised on the activities of the government.
“The DAN-III government under the abled-leadership of the chief minister Dr. Surhozelie Liezietsu has become much stronger and NPF lead DAN will come back to power next,” said BS Nganlang.He interacted with the village council about functioning of the present government regarding the unemployment problem, which is a pressing issue of Nagas today. He urged the people of his constituency to have a positive perspective towards this issue saying the government is committed to solve the unemployment problem in the State.
Coinciding with his tour, minister of Road and Bridges Y Vikheho Swu inaugurated the Shishi Bridge at Dikhu between Tangha and Kangching village on May 3. Inauguration of the bridge was the long felt need of the Phom community connecting Longleng and Tamlu.
It may be mentioned here that the inauguration of the bridge was proposed by late Bautung Phom, former IBM member, before Nagas got statehood.
