DIMAPUR— The Northeast Frontier Railway Sports Association (NFRSA) won eight medals in the recently concluded 43rd All Assam Inter District (Junior Girls & Junior Boys) and Elite (Men & Women) Boxing Championship, held in Guwahati from July 25 to 29.
The championship was organised by the Ulubari Boxing Club, Guwahati, Assam.

Gourav Mazumdar in the 51 kg weight category Elite (Men) and Pranta Jyoti Ghatowar in the 60 kg weight category Elite (Men) won gold medals, while Arfin Ali in the 48 kg weight category Elite (Men) and Bikash Lama in the 67 kg weight category Elite (Men) won silver medals.
Abhoy Chetri and Abhishek Pandey won bronze medals in the 63 kg and 80 kg weight categories respectively. B. Prabin won the silver medal in the Junior Boys 48 kg weight category, while Shreya Chakraborty won the bronze medal in the Junior Girls 52 kg weight category.
