DIMAPUR — Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to operate three pairs of shuttle trains for the convenience of passengers. The shuttle trains will run daily between Rangiya Junction and New Bongaigaon Junction from December 20 to the 26th for seven trips each in both directions.
A press release issued by NFR chief PRO, Sabyasachi De, informed that shuttle train No. 00809/ 00810 (Rangiya–New Bongaigaon-Rangiya) will depart from Rangiya at 6:15 am to reach New Bongaigaon at 9:30 am. In return direction, the train will depart from New Bongaigaon at 5:30 pm to reach Rangiyaat 8:45 pm.
Accordingly, shuttle train No. 00811/00812 (New Bongaigaon–Rangiya-New Bongaigaon) will depart from New Bongaigaon at 6:30 am to reach Rangiyaat 9:45 am. In return direction, the train will depart from Rangiya at 10:15 am to reach New Bongaigaon at 1:15 pm.
Another shuttle train No. 00813/00814 (New Bongaigaon–Rangiya-New Bongaigaon) will depart from New Bongaigaon at 1:40 pm to reach Rangiya at 4:45 pm. In return direction, the train will depart from Rangiya at 5:45 pm to reach New Bongaigaon at 9 pm.
The shuttle trains would facilitate the passengers of scheduled trains that have been cancelled/ diverted/ short terminated due to ongoing infrastructure developmental works between Changsari and Agthori Railway stations of Rangiya division.
