Applicants requested not to fall prey to false promises of touts
Dimapur, Sep. 20 (EMN): The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) from across the country have engaged a highly reputed company to conduct the Computer Based Test (CBT) for CEN RRC 01/2019 - Level 1 (Erstwhile Group D) recruitment in which more than 1.1 crore candidates are appearing.
An update from the NFR issued on Sep. 20 informed that three phases of CBT have already been completed involving 12 zonal railways while the fourth phase began on Sep. 19.
Various safeguards and protections are said to be built into the system to prevent and eliminate any kind of irregularity and that the allocation of the centre to the candidates are randomised through computer logic.
The question paper is also said to be highly 256-bit encrypted form, and no one other than the candidate can access the question paper, and that too once the candidate does second and final login into the computer after the start of exam and hence final decryption of question paper takes place at this stage.
The exams are conducted in strict surveillance of CCTV cameras with full recording of each and every candidate. Besides this, the Railways also deploy their own staff at each centre to monitor activities of candidates as well as staff of Exam Conducting Agency (ECA) to ensure smooth conduction of exams.
Aadhaar authentications of candidates have been introduced for the first time in level-1 exam which is being used by RRBs as an additional measure to prevent impersonation in addition to measures already in place, like capturing and verifying biometrics at each stage of the recruitment process right to the appointment stage.
The candidates have been requested to beware of touts who try to misguide candidates with fake promises of appointment for jobs on illegal consideration and not to pay attention to fake news circulations.
Recruitment in railway jobs is done purely on merit basis and the process itself is very transparent, the update further informed.
