Dimapur, Nov. 29 (EMN): A two-day high-level meeting of department principal heads and divisional Railway managers of all the five divisions of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) was held on November 28 and the 29th at its headquarter in Maligaon.
In an update, Chief Public Relations Officer Subhanan Chanda informed that during the meeting, the members reviewed the performance of different departments during the last eight months on various parameters including safety and security in railway premises, punctuality of train running, cleanliness, ongoing developmental works and earnings.
The NFR General Manager Sanjive Roy checked the target achievements of the zones.
Threadbare discussions were held to tackle all issues that adversely affect performance of the railway, it informed.
The general manager further called on the members to focus more on improving performance by bringing better innovations and rigorously pursue action plans prepared to achieve targets fixed by the Railway ministry.
