Dimapur, Jan. 13: NPF party intending candidate for DMC Ward 22, Pukhavi Yepthomi, has vehemently condemned the cowardly act of suspected bomb blast that took place at the resident of Hokuto Zhimomi, intending candidate for BJP on the night of January 12. Reacting to the incident, Pukhavi strongly urged the investigating agency to seriously investigate the matter and book the culprit(s) at the earliest as per the law of the land, so that no miscreants could create unconducive situation between the two parties.
In an similar press release, Veterinary colony, Dimapur in its meeting convened by its chairman D. Yongnyak Konyak on January 13, condemned the bomb blast at the residence of Hokuto Zhimomi, the intending BJP candidate on January 12 around 9:25 p.m. The colony also earnestly requested the Administration to look into the matter at the earliest and take necessary action by booking the culprit (s), so that no such incident will occur in the future.
The residents of Veterinary colony also resolved to take drastic action towards anyone who directly or indirectly tries to sabotage the peaceful atmosphere of their colony.
The meeting also resolved to conduct clear and fair election by implementing one person, one vote and any proxy voters shall be dealt with stern actions i.e. direct consequences.
Further, the council and the citizens pleaded the administration to provide security in order to maintain harmony in the colony.
