- DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Foothills Road
Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) along with the NPWD (R&B), contractor firm
and villages council members on Monday carried out a joint inspection of the
ongoing Foothills Road construction under Longleng division.
- In a press release, the NFHRCC stated that the joint
inspection is in consonance with the committee’s decade-old commitment to the
Foothills Road and to extend unconditional service to the people of Nagaland to
provide a “dignified Nagaland Survival Road.”
- “The single-lane maintenance work on the Foothills Road
stretch was undertaken by the contractor firm M/S A Pongshi Phom & Sons at
a cost of INR 1,46,31,280 (Rupees one crore forty-six lakh thirty-one thousand
two hundred eighty only).

- “To the best of our knowledge the work was executed
satisfactorily as per the DPR envisaged by the concerned department,” it
stated.
- The NFHRCC team was led by B Tushah Phom and four executive
members.
