The NFA Media and District Affairs Committee meets in Kohima to finalise media arrangements for the Dr. T Ao Trophy.
DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) Media and District Affairs Committee held a meeting at the NFA office in Kohima on September 25 under the chairmanship of NFA Joint Secretary Chenonlo Woch.
The nine-member committee was constituted by the NFA in March 2026 to advise, support, and assist the NFA Executive Committee in managing, developing, and governing specific operational areas of Nagaland football, according to an update.
The meeting deliberated on general matters concerning the committee, including its role and scope, NFA media rights, branding, media management, coordination with district football associations, engagement of media personnel, and supervisory roles for the forthcoming Dr. T Ao Trophy (Inter District Football Championship) 2026.
The meeting also delineated the roles and responsibilities of the committee during tournaments and events, delegating responsibilities among members for improved functioning.
Key decisions taken during the meeting included the finalisation of the broadcasting partner, digital partner, and other media-related arrangements for the upcoming tournament.
