The Nagaland Football Association approves Nagaland Super League Charter and sets dates for the 25th Dr. T Ao Inter-District Football Championship.

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) approved the Nagaland Super League Charter and announced the dates for the 25th Dr. T Ao Inter-District Football Championship during its annual general body meeting held at its office in Kohima on July 31.
The meeting was chaired by NFA President K Neibou Sekhose, with representatives from 15 of the 17 member district football associations in attendance, according to an update.
In his introductory note, the president expressed appreciation to the various district associations that have organised their district leagues or are scheduled to do so. He also thanked the associations and the state government for their support in ensuring a successful preceding football season in Nagaland.
Sekhose announced that the milestone 25th edition of the Dr. T Ao Inter-District Football Championship, to be hosted by the Mokokchung District Football Association, will be held from October 12 to the 31st.

He added that registrations will close by the end of September to ensure the timely completion of formalities and requested the cooperation and active participation of all member associations to make the jubilee edition successful.
During the meeting, the Nagaland Super League Charter, which regulates its Governing Council and Management Committee in line with AIFF regulations, was placed before the house and unanimously approved.
The association also handed over its approval for the Wokha District Football Association's proposal to host the sixth Nagaland Futsal Club Championship in 2027.
Furthermore, all member associations were directed to celebrate Futsal Day in their respective districts on August 15, in accordance with AIFF directives.
