Maligaon, January 24: Lokesh Narayan, (Chief Electrical Engineer of North Central Railway, Allahabd) has taken over the charge of Additional General Manager, Northeast Frontier Railway (open line) on January 23. This was stated in a press note issued by Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR/Maligaon.
Narayan an officer of 1980 batch of IRSEE (Indian Railway Service for Electrical Engineer) graduated in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology; Roorkee joined the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) in 1980. Narayan held several important assignments in the Ministry of Railways. He was also the Additional Divisional Railway Manager in Bombay Central of Western Railway. He worked as Divisional Railway Manager in Ratlam Division of Western Railway from 2011 to 2013, Chief Electrical Engineer in Central Organisation of Railway Electrification at Allahabad from 2014 to 2016 and then as Chief Electrical Engineer of North Central Railway, Allahabad till his present assignment .
Narayan has obtained the training in 3 Phase Locomotives at M/s ASEA Sweden and at ABB, Switzerland. Moreover, he is also trained up in 3 Phase EMUs at M/s Siemens, Australia and Germany.
