Dimapur, March 24 (EMN): It was one-of-a-kind event for the motor brand and its clients: Maruti Suzuki’s premium-channel car branding Nexa hosted an interaction with its customers at Progressive Motors at the Niathu Resort in Dimapur on March 24.
Nexa boasts of having created a premium experience for its customers when it launched Nexa as a new dealership format for premium cars.
The chief executive officer of Progressive Motors PM and management head at Dimapur Nexa Ameto Peseyie said that the day’s event was mainly to introduce the service station to its customers. He assured that the showroom and service station was ‘environment-friendly’ and that the team envisages doing everything paperless.
Further, Peseyie said Progressive Motors was a ‘channel branch’ of NEXA. Its dedication during the past 30 years earned that trust, he said. He announced that a workshop was in the pipeline which he informed would be inaugurated in a month or two.
Workshops of the Nexa have been designed particularly with the purpose to provide ‘unmatched’ service experience along with high operational efficiency. The brand claimed that by the end of the financial year it aims to open 300 workshops across the country.
It was informed that a Nexa workshop would be a ‘digital workshop’ stated to have been developed for higher productivity, efficiency, and transparency. Some of these elements are said to be state-of--art customer lounge, tester lines, mechanized washing, RFID vehicle tracking systems.
Also, Nexa lifestyle accessories will be another appealing element to the Nexa workshops. It will supplement customers’ lifestyle around their car. One will also be able to avail services on their Maruti Suzuki vehicles at a Nexa workshop, including those retailed from the regular showrooms.
A powerpoint presentation was also given by Joy Prakash, senior relationship manager at Nexa Dimapur to the gathering. It was claimed that five million cars from Maruti Suzuki were rolled out from production lines in April 2005. In February 2018, Nexa expanded to 350 showrooms across India after its launch in July 2015 by Maruti Suzuki as a new premium channel.
Prakash informed customers about the free services available. It was informed that customers who have either completed a month or 1000 km would have a first free servicing; the second free service after completing six months or 5000 km; the third free service for customers who have completed 12 months or 10,000 km.
Further, subsequent oil and periodic services would be free for every 10,000 km or one-year whichever comes first. The stated services include only labour charges for general servicing and not for other consumables, it was informed.
Swapnil Shah, regional service manager at NEXA’s east zone, was also present at the event. He asserted that a “strong footprint” of Nexa dealers would be present in Nagaland in the days to come.
