CNC’s appeal to observe Naga National Prayer Day

DIMAPUR — The Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC), NSCN (IM), has appealed to all Naga churches, organisations, institutions, families, and individuals to observe ‘Naga National Prayer Day’ on October 19. In an appeal statement on Friday, the CNC also appealed to Nagas to remember and observe the Naga National Prayer Day, the third Sunday of October every year, as an “important occasion so that prayer may bind us together as a people.” “This year’s theme, ‘O God, Heal Us’ (Hosea 6:1–3), is both a cry and a call. We urge every Naga, wherever you are — in villages, towns, cities, or abroad — to join your hearts in prayer on this day. Let us rise early to seek His face, humble ourselves before His presence, and turn from every wicked and unrighteous way,” it stated.
