Zunheboto DPDB meeting on April 6
DIMAPUR — The Zunheboto District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting for April is scheduled to be held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Zunheboto, on April 6. According to a DIPR report, Dharam Raj, DC and Vice Chairman of DPDB, has issued a circular informing all the members to take note of the scheduled date and attend the meeting. The meeting is expected to deliberate on key developmental issues and review ongoing projects in the district.
NLA Secretariat changes Appellate Authority nomenclature
DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Secretariat, Kohima, has issued a notification regarding a change in the nomenclature of its Appellate Authority with immediate effect. According to an update, in continuation of the Secretariat’s notification dated September 16, 2022, and in pursuance of Sub Section (1) of Section 5 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (Central Act No. 22 of 2005), the nomenclature of the Appellate Authority referred to as 'Secretary-in-Charge' shall be read as 'Secretary'.
KBPF to hold Resurrection Sunday
DIMAPUR — The Kohima Baptist Pastors Fellowship (KBPF) will hold its Resurrection Sunday Sunrise Service at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground) on April 5 at 5:00 am. In a press release, KBPF informed that the message will be delivered by Rev. Dr. Ruokuovilie Sachü, President of KBPF, while Wongtokiu, Vice President of KBPF, will lead the programme. Rev. Dr. Benry Lotha, Senior Pastor of Lotha Baptist Church, Kohima, will pronounce the invocation, while Rev. M Nahngom, Pastor of Konyak Baptist Church, Kohima, will pronounce the benediction. As in previous years, KBPF has invited all to come and take part in this year’s programme.
