TSUD condemns death threat against Dr. Dzüvichü

DIMAPUR — The Tenyimi Students' Union Dimapur (TSUD) condemned the recent death threat issued against Dr. Rosemary Dzüvichü, Advisor of Naga Mothers Association, by WJ Longkumer via Facebook. In a condemnation note, the TSUD stated that issuing death threats “reflects a mindset steeped in fear, intolerance, and regression and it undermines the democratic fabric that allows for dialogue, opposition and progress.” “The Tenyimi Students' Union stands in solidarity with the victim and all individuals who champion truth and social progress. We believe that the strength of a society lies in its ability to protect its voices of conscience, not silence them through intimidation.” The union urged the law enforcement agencies to initiate swift and stringent legal action against the perpetrator, ensuring that such acts of hostility are not normalised or repeated.
