DIMAPUR — The Chakhesang Mothers' Association (CMA) has condemned the aggravated sexual and physical assault of a 14-year-old minor in Dimapur. In a statement, the association described the incident as a shameless act of prolonged abuse by the perpetrators and stated that it was not only a violation of dignity but also a direct threat to humanity. The CMA urged the authorities to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation to ensure justice and hold the perpetrators accountable. It also demanded that the accused be given befitting punishment under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) without delay. The association expressed solidarity with the victim and the victim's family.
