GPRN/NSCN (U) condoles Ntsemo Ngullie’s demise
DIMAPUR — The GPRN/NSCN (U), led by president Gen. (Retd) MB Neokpao Konyak and ato kilonser Alezo Venuh, has condoled the demise of Ntsemo Ngullie, who passed away on December 4. In a condolence message, the GPRN/NSCN (U) stated that Ngullie devoted his entire life for the uplift and unity of Naga people. “He relentlessly worked for the peace and wellbeing of the entire Naga communities. He will be remembered for his selfless services as a social worker, outstanding statement and visionary leader,” the message read. “His unwavering commitment and lifelong contributions towards the welfare of the Naga people will remain an enduring source of inspiration for generations to come.”
TB conference held at CIHSR
DIMAPUR — The 6th East TB and Chest Diseases Conference 2025 was held at the Christian Institute Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR), Chümoukedima, on November 29 and the 30th. The event was organised by the TB Association of North East India, in collaboration with the CIHSR, an update stated. About 200 delegates from across the country attended the conference. The Health Minister of Sikkim, GT Dhungel and Deputy Speaker of Assam Assembly, Dr. Numal Momin were the special guests. The keynote speaker was Dr. Bamin Tada, secretary of TB Association of North East India. Challenges in TB elimination, gaps, barriers and strategies were discussed during the conference, it stated.

CAKYO elects new office bearer
DIMAPUR — The Chakhro Angami Kuda Youth Organisation (CAKYO) held its general meeting on November 28 at the Northern Angami Community Hall, Dimapur, and inducted its new office bearers for the tenure 2025–2028. The new team is led by president Ketoulelie Nagi, vice president Medozhalie Metha, general secretary Patrick Solo Khriesazotuo, asst. general secretary Khriesakedo Medom, treasurer Kevichütuo Secü and six others. The program was attended by DMC councillor Neingutoulie Kengurüse who urged the youth to uphold unity, responsibility, and service for the welfare of the community. The programme began with an invocation by CAKWO president Lhoulakhono Savino, followed by a special song by Dr. Levinuo Flora Solo. Greetings were extended by CAKU president Rovisielie Nakhro, and a blessing prayer for the new tenure was offered by pastor Vilasetuo Suokhrie of ABCNAC. The event was chaired by CAKYO vice president Sedevilie Angami.
