KU consultative meeting on ancestral land boundaries


DIMAPUR — The Konyak Union (KU) is organising a consultative meeting with its units, including Tizit, Wakching, Naginimora and Mon, to discuss ancestral land boundary issues between the Konyak and Ahom communities. The meeting is scheduled for August 25 at 11 am at the KU headquarters office in Mon. In a press release, the KU requested the presidents and general secretaries, Anghs, chairmen and Head GBs of the aforementioned units and villages, senior Konyak citizens who are custodians of ancestral land territory, advisory board and union executive council of the Konyak Union to attend the meeting without fail.

RTA Dimapur board meeting on Aug. 27


DIMAPUR — The Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Dimapur, has fixed its board meeting on August 27 at 1 pm at Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall. According to a DIPR report, all board members have been requested to attend the meeting. Meanwhile, the quarterly meeting of the District Road Safety Committee, Dimapur, will also be held on August 27 at 2 pm at the DC’s conference hall. All concerned officers have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.

 

CPO general meeting on Aug. 23


DIMAPUR — The Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) will hold its general meeting on August 23 at 10 am at the CPO Hall in Chümoukedima. The meeting, hosted by the Chümoukedima Circle CPO (CCCPO), will feature the installation of the new CPO team, an update stated. The CPO has invited all concerned individuals, village council representatives, and leaders of frontal organizations to attend the meeting.

 

DIET Chiechama hosts orientation programme


DIMAPUR — An orientation programme on ICT, DIKSHA and cyber security for faculty and trainees of DIET Chiechama, was organised by the SCERT at DIET Chiechama on Thursday. According to an update, Vice Principal of DIET Chiechama, Kenilo Semp, introduced the resource persons, including Daniel Thong Seb, Head IE & ICT, SCERT; Kezhalenuo Rutsa, Lecturer, DIET Chiechama: and  Aylwin Semp, Lecturer, DIET Wokha. He further thanked Keviraleü Kerhuo, Director of SCERT, for the timely intervention. All together 55 persons attended the programme.
