PDCCI flags poor telecom service
DIMAPUR — The Phek District Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PDCCI) has raised concern against poor telecom service in the Phek area and Phek town. In a press release, the PDCCI expressed concern over the persistent network issues, noting that despite the public, businesses, and students relying heavily on the internet, there has been no improvement since July 2025. The chamber urged the concerned authorities to resolve the network fluctuations and call drop problems by September 7, warning that failure to do so would prompt PDCCI to take action against the service provider. The PDCCI cautioned that if the network fluctuations persist, then it would be compelled to lock down the telecom office until further notice.
