DMC to organise social work
Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed all the residents under its jurisdiction that it would organise a mass social work every Saturday starting from 8 AM onwards in November in order to check the outbreak of dengue. DMC administrator, Moa Sangtam, has requested all the residents of Dimapur municipality area to completely remove/drain stagnant water within their respective house compounds from household utensils, flowerpots, drains etc during the social work.
EKK to hold annual picnic
Emlotomi Kupshokulu Kohima (EKK) has announced to organise its 17th annual programme cum picnic on November 4 at Jubilee Memorial Hall, Jotsoma, at 10:30 AM on the theme “Growth in unity” with Dr. Pihoto Khala, Director of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Service, as the speaker. EKK president, Botovi Chishi has requested all the members and well wisher to attend the said programme positively.
DTHWF informs hostels
Dimapur Town Hostel Welfare Forum (DTHWF) has informed all the hostel proprietors within Dimapur, who are yet to register in the forum, to get themselves registered along with a xerox copy of their hostel eligibility certificate issued by the higher and technical education latest by November 10. This was stated in a joint release issued by the forum president, Purtoshi, and the secretary, Watisenla.
DCCI informs members
Dimapur District Congress Committee (DCC) has informed all the official and party workers to attend the dedicatory programme of newly appointed DCC president and working president on November 4 at 11 a.m. at Congress Bhavan, opposite East Police Station, Dimapur. This was stated in a press release issued by Kikhevi Yethomi, DCC general secretary.
ECI appoints observer for Kohima
In connection with the ongoing Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Roll, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has appointed Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Alan Gonmai, as Observer for Kohima district.
