DMC notifies citizens
As per the meeting resolution passed on Sep. 22 between the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) and Ward Sanitation Committees, DMC Administrator Moa Sangtam has informed to all citizens under Dimapur municipality that it is mandatory for all pigsties to have attached dug pit. All colony authorities are authorized to take appropriate action against those who fail to comply with this order. This order will come with effect from the 1st Oct’2017
Substance abuse transformation seminar
A substance abuse transformation seminar will be held at Wokha from Sep. 28 to 30 with the theme “And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32) at Likya Yankho community hall. The programme is being organised by some doctors and friends from Wokha and leaders from Dimapur whose lives also have been transformed. Resource persons for the program are evangelist Kevilelie Medo Solo, Soyen Ezung and Hokato Zhimomi from Dimapur.
NSVDBA convenes meeting
The Nagaland State VDB Association (NSVDBA) has convened a meeting on Sep. 28, 11 a.m. at Hotel Saramati, to deliberate on some important agendas concerning VDB. All office bearers and executive members of the association and district office bearers with atleast five representatives have been asked to attend the meeting positively.
DDC party workers meeting
The Dimapur District Congress (DCC) party workers will be holding a meeting on Sep. 28, 11 a.m. at Town hall Dimapur. NPCC tour officials will address the meeting. All party workers are requested to attend the meeting positively. DCC also invited NGOs and public leaders to the meeting.
Awareness on drugs at Tangnyu
The Gospel Outreach Ministry, Mon in association with Tangnyu village Council Mission Board, Youth Department and Bumeinok Tangnyu village, organised three day awareness programme on drugs and opium from Sep. 22 to 24 at Tangnyu village. A total of 112 clients attended and the awareness programme.
