SI Jamir to launch garbage vehicles

Advisor of Urban Development, SI Jamir will launch a garbage transportation vehicles under ADB assisted NERCCDIP/NERUDP on September 15, 8 a.m. at Solidarity park, New Capital Complex, Kohima. Secretary of Urban Development Department, Motsuthung Lotha wil chair the programme while Associate Pastor KLBC, Mhonchumo S. Lotha will pronounce the dedicatory prayer. Additional Programme Director, SIPMIU, Er. Limanaro will present the technical report and chairman, North Block Panchayat and president of KCCI, Jabou Sekhose will deliver a speech on behalf of the wards. Administrator, KMC, Kethosituo Sekhose will apprise of the project’s way forward.

Govt. Polytechnic Kohima informs students

In view of the compartmental examination for even semester tentatively scheduled to commence from November 14, the principal of Government Polytechnic Kohima has informed the students to fill up the examination form w.e.f. October 4 to 7. The principal office also notified that no extension of dates and complaints shall be entertained thereafter.

NPF president convenes traditional meeting

In exercises of the power of NPF party constitution Article V Cause 3 and Article 10, the President of the Naga people’s Front (NPF), Neiphiu Rio has convened a traditional meeting of the NPF Central Executive Council (CEC) on September 19, 4 p.m. Nousi Auditorium, Niathu Resort Chumukedima, Dimapur. The president has informed that the meeting shall review the preparatory status of the September 20 general convention.

Rajya Purashkar award ceremony

Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides will be organising the Rajya Puraskar Award ceremony on September 16, 11:30 a.m. at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Kohima.
