Home dept. directs adherence to flag code
The Department of Home, Political Branch, has directed all concerned to ensure strict compliance of the provisions contained in the Flag Code of India, 2002, Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971 and adherence to the directives issued by the Government of India on the matter from time to time. Under Secretary, Government of Nagaland, Hatneikim Kipgen in a release directed the use of National Flag made of paper on important National, Cultural and Sports events instead of National Flag made of non-biodegradable plastic.
BLOs training for Phek district
In connection with Special Summary Revision of Electoral Roll w.r.t. January 1, 2018 as the qualifying date, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) training of all Assembly Constituencies of Phek district has been sheduled on September 14, 11 a.m. at Town Hall, Phek Town. All BLOs of Phek district have been directed to attend the training without fail.
RD Block Chumukedima meeting
BDO RD Block Chumukedima, K Yamao Konyak has informed all the VDB secretaries and village council chairmen under Chumukedima RD block that there will be an important meeting to deliberate on issues with regard to MGNREGS funding patterns on September 8, 10 a.m. at Niathu Resort, Chumukedima. All the concerned have been asked to attend the meeting positively.
A&E office informs pensioners
Office of the Pr. Accountant General (A&E) has inform all retired State Government officers/officials that pension and GPF final payment cases settled upto the month of July have been uploaded on the AG Nagaland website. Pensioners may log on to office web-site-www.agnagaland.gov.in. It also informed that the list has also been put up for display at the Public Relation Cell and can be view on any working days during office hours.
NUV to organise golden jubilee challenge prog.
The Naga United Village, Dimapur (NUV), will be organising golden jubilee challenge programme on September 9, 10 a.m. at Public Ground Naga United Village. All concerned residents of the village have been requested to attend the programme positively.
