CAKU ask members to attend public rally
The Chakhro Angami Kuda Union (CAKU) has requested all members under its jurisdiction to attend the ACAUT rally to be held today, 3:30 p.m. at Supermarket. The union also informed all its frontal organizations-women, youth and student office bearers, to mobilize its members to attend the rally. CAKU further requested all the village council chairmen and GBs and area/colony representatives under CAKU to inform its members and mobilize all the Angami for participation.
Gorkhas to observe Balidan Diwas
Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima (GPPK) in association with Gorkha NGOs will be obsrving Balidan Diwas, in memory of Shaheed Major Durga Malla, Captain Neikezhakuo Kenguruse and other martyrs at Gorkha Public Panchayat Complex, Chandmari, Kohima today at 3 p.m. A memorial service will be also held at World War II Cemetery at 6:30 a.m. Joint Director of Treasures & Accounts, R.N Lama and Reserve Officer, PHQ, Milan Sunam, will grace the programme as the chief Guest and guest of honour respectively.
Draft list of polling stations under Mkg
The Assistant Election Officer & Assistant Electoral Registration Officer, Mokokchung, Alila Chang has informed that the draft list of polling stations for 21-Tuli A/C, 22-Arkakong A/C, 23-Impur A/C, 24-Angetyongpang, 25-Mongoya A/C, 26-Aonglenden A/C, 27-Mokokchung A/C, 28-Koridang A/C, 29-Jangpetkong A/C, 30-Alongtaki A/C has been published and a copy is available for public inspection during office hours in the office of the Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer (DC & DEO), Mokokchung. Any claims/objections to the draft list of polling stations are asked to present before DC & DEO Mokokchung on or before September 12. No claims/objections would be entertained thereafter.
NPYC informs members
The Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) secretary, Limayangba, has informed that Roselina Tirkey, MLA, Indian Youth Congress (IYC) ecretary in-charge Nagaland and Tripura would be visiting Nagaland on August 30, to have a meeting with NPYC executives in regard to the forthcoming general election. Therefore, the executives have been asked to attend the meeting positively.
DLSU freshers’ meet-cum-excellency award
Dimapur Lotha Students Union (DLSU) will be holding its 32nd Freshers’ Meet Cum Academic Excellency Award, on August 26, 10 a.m. at Lotha Hoho Ki, Dimapur. Retd Additional Director of Land Resource and Mission Director of Bio Resource Mission, Moatoshi Longkumer will grace the event as chief guest.
