State Level National Deworming Day

The Department of Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) will be organizing the State level National Deworming Day on August 10 at 8:30 a.m. Mission Director of NHM, H&FW, Dr. Limaakum Jamir will launched the programme at Christ King Higher Secondary School, P. Khel Kohima.

DEO Kohima informs institution heads

District Education Officer (DEO), Kohima has informed all the heads of institutions of both government and private schools under DEO Kohima jurisdiction that the science seminar 2017 for high school students of class 8 -10 on the topic “Swachh Bharat: Role of science and technology promise and challenges” will be held on August 22 at Christ King Higher Secondary School, Kohima. All the concerned heads of institution have been requested to submit the participant name and class to DEO before August 18.

PDAD informs members

The Petroleum Dealers Association Dimapur (PDAD) president, Neingutuolie Kenguruse, has directed its members not to entertain any shop registration from NPGs apart from Dimapur Municipal Council. Members/retail outlets are also directed not to entertain any kind of help, donations and contributions to any organisations, associations or NPGs. The presidents also sought support and assistance from the administrations, associations or organizations for clean and quality business.

ANCSU executive meeting

All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has convened its 13th executive meeting (2015-17) on August 11, 11 a.m. at ANCSU Office. All executive members have been requested to attend the meeting positively.

LLRSU coordination meeting

Lotha Lower Range Students’ Union (LLRSU) has convened a golden jubilee coordination meeting August 12, 11 a.m. at Bethesda Youth Welfare Center, Walford colony, Dimapur, to discuss matter regarding forthcoming LLRSU golden jubilee celebration. The union request all the committee members and elders to attend the meeting.

PSC convenes executive meeting

The Phom Students’ Conference (PSC) has convened an executive meeting on August 12, 10 a.m. at PSC Office, Longleng, for the upcoming general conference 2018. All executives have been requested to attend the meeting positively.

Tseminyu SDPDB meeting

Tseminyu SDPDB monthly meeting has been scheduled on August 10, 11 a.m at Dobashi Customary Court, ADC office Compound. ADC Tseminyu, Theodore Yanthan has informed all heads of the offices to attend the meeting positively.

Mass social work at Peren

In view of the Independence Day celebration, a mass social work was conducted on August 8 at Multi-Disciplinary Outdoor Sport Complex (MDOSC), Peren District Headquarters. All the departments under Peren district participated.

TWUD inducts more committee members

The Tenyimi Women’s Union Dimapur (TWUD) in its general meeting held on August 5, inducted eight finance committee members to help the office bearers for the upcoming of Tenyimi Women’s Day. The house also appointed three more advisory board members. The TWUD acknowledged the Tenyimia Union Dimapur for financial assistance for the general meeting.
