School Edu informs teachers on financial assistance scheme
The Principal Director of School Education, Smita Sarangi, IAS has informed all concerned teachers that the prescribed application forms for financial assistance under the scheme of “Support for Professional Education of Children of School Teachers” for the academic year 2014-15, are available in the Directorate of School Education, Kohima. The deserving candidates can apply by collecting the forms from the Directorate of School Education, Kohima form June 7 to 17. Application forms duly filled up should be submitted from June 19 to 30. It is also informed that application received beyond the date will not be considered.
Govt constitutes Committee for Assessment
The Government of Nagaland has constituted a Committee for Assessment of the loss of human life, domestic animals, crops and properties by wild animals for compensation in the state. the committee members are Deputy Commissioner as chairman, 2. wildlife warden as member secretary, territorial DFO, District Agriculture Officer, District Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Officer and District Horticulture Officer as members.

GPPK to hold general meeting
Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima (GPPK) has convened a general body meeting on June 11, 11 a.m. at Gorkha Public Panchayat Complex, Chandmari, Kohima. In the first session of the meeting will presentation of secretaries will present reports while in the second session new team of office bearer for the session 2017-2020 will be elected. All the members of GPPK residing within and outside Kohima district have been invited to attend the meeting.
